Late on Friday evening, a major traffic accident occurred in Vilnius. Police are reporting a female victim and the driver who fled.
As informed by the police, at 9:05 p.m. Savanoriu PR. cars collided: a BMW and a Mercedes Benz, after the impact the latter turned onto its roof, the windows were broken.
Witnesses say that the Mercedes Benz driver got out of the wrecked vehicle and got into another car and drove away.
According to the police, a passenger in the BMW was injured during the accident, she was taken to the hospital due to a head injury.
Norbertas Daunoravičius, a representative of side-skiing, was also seen at the scene. He may have come to see a friend who had an accident.
Officials are investigating the circumstances.
