A major partner of PSG, will Qatar Airways also be a major partner of Chelsea?
Will Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea soon share a major sponsor? The London club has not had a premium commercial partner on the front of its jersey since the start of this 2024-2025 season. This represents a loss of several tens of millions of euros for the Blues, who are struggling to remedy this by multiplying negotiations.
Chelsea in talks with Qatar Airways over jersey
Kaveh Solhekol, editor-in-chief of Sky Sport, talks about discussions with several airlines and in particular with Qatar Airways, the same one that appears on the PSG players’ jersey, for 68.5 million euros per year. Recently, Qatar Airways has increased its contribution with UEFA by becoming the airline partner of the Champions League until 2030 for an annual amount estimated at 80 million euros.
Otherwise, Qatar Airways is associated with Inter Milan, FIFA, Concacaf, the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA, the Section paloise and the Sydney Swans in rugby, Formula 1, the Ironman… Last season, Chelsea already started its exercise without its main sponsor. It only recruited him on the last day of September, with the Infinite Athlete brand, engaged until June 30th and which did not renew then.
