“Yesterday (April 19) morning, fighting began on the entire front line in the Donetsk, Luhansk and Kharkiv regions. But it was their attempt to test the strength of our Armed Forces. The attempt was unsuccessful. They will continue these attempts. When the so-called “The big attack is a matter of time,” Danilov said.
He also warned against making predictions that the fight for the Donbass would be the last and decisive one. “There may still be many different things ahead. It is not, as I would say before, the last and decisive battle. It is one of the battles that has been going on in our country since 2014,” Danilov said.
He noted that Russia can still bring new resources and reserves into the battle in the next two to four weeks.
“We must not underestimate the strength of our enemy: it is a big country, there are a lot of people, not quite a mind. (..) They are still there. So it ‘s very hard to tell when they will run out [cilvēki]”said Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
