Lmajor police operation taking place Saturday night avenue Général Dumonceau in Forest was a search carried out within the framework of a drug case, indicated the parquet floor of Brussels.
The operation began earlier in the evening after the arrest, on the act, of a man suspected of drug trafficking by the Montgomery police area (Etterbeek / Woluwe Saint-Pierre / Woluwe Saint-Lambert). Following this intervention, a search was carried out on avenue Général Dumonceau.
The police feared that a person was taking refuge, armed, in the house which was to be searched. The police therefore cordoned off the neighborhood and requested the reinforcement of a helicopter to the federal police before searching the house. In the end, no one was present in the house, and no weapons were found.
