The production of the new season of the series Star Trek : Picard had to be halted after a major outbreak of COVID-19 cases hit around 50 members of the film crew according to the NY Post.
The star actor of this series, Patrick Stewart, has not been infected with this virus, the media confirmed.
In total, more than 50 members of the production team have received a positive result out of the 450 employees who have worked on this series so far.
Series Star Trek is not the only one who had to interrupt her shooting, the Omicron variant has forced the suspension of some projects of the CBS company such as the series NCIS and NCIS LA.
