Flights are currently delayed up to almost 2 hours. Brussels Airport does not rule out the possibility that flights will be canceled or depart without luggage. Flights from TUI are particularly affected, but Aviapartner is also responsible for handling at Ryanair and Lufthansa, among others. In total, Aviapartner is responsible for baggage handling for half of the flights at the airport.
Operations on the tarmac, aircraft cleaning and aircraft pushbacks have been disrupted. There are no consequences for the check-in.
