DUBAI, 25 SEPTEMBER / WAM / His Excellency Major General Expert Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs at Dubai Police, praised the role played by the General Department of Logistical Support and what it provides to public administrations and police stations, and its combined efforts to provide logistical support and all military equipment needs. This came during His Excellency’s inspection of the General Administration of Logistical Support, as part of the annual inspection program of public administrations and police stations, in the presence of Major General Ahmed Muhammad Rafi’, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Community Happiness and Logistical Support Affairs, Major General Ali Ghanem, Director of the General Administration of Logistical Support, and Brigadier General Dr. Saleh Al-Hamrani, Deputy Director of the General Administration for Excellence and Leadership, Brigadier General Khalid bin Sulaiman, Deputy Director of the Leadership Organizational Office, Lieutenant Colonel Obaid Balrashad Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of the General Administration for Logistical Support, and a number of officers.
Major General Al Mansouri began his inspection tour, visiting sub-departments in the public administration, inspecting the Assets and Facilities Department, the Administrative Affairs Department, the Purchasing and Stores Department, the Environment, Health and Public Safety Department, the Weapons and Ammunition Department, the Supplier Relations Center, and other departments.
Major General Khalil Al Mansouri reviewed the main indicators of public administration, including the asset and facilities management efficiency index, which achieved 99%, compared to the same period last year, and the rate of electricity consumption in the workplace per person, which reached 16.7 kilowatts per hour last year, compared to 17.68. Kilowatt hours in 2021, and the rate of water consumption in the workplace per person, which reached 290 liters in 2022 compared to 330 liters in 2021.
Major General Al Mansouri was briefed on the most important construction projects supervised by the Assets and Facilities Department, including the Bur Dubai Police Station, the Hatta Police Station, and the employee barracks in Al Barsha, in addition to improvement and maintenance works in public administrations and police stations.
He also viewed the Dubai Police’s central building control room, which includes the latest smart systems and programs used in facility maintenance, in addition to the procedure for tracking maintenance reports from receiving the request until its closure.
He reviewed the progress of work in the Supplier Relations Center, which is the first of its kind at the level of government departments in the Emirate of Dubai, and aims to enhance communication with partners, work to facilitate services for them, make them happy, and strengthen the bonds of ongoing relations with them, in order to achieve the future aspirations of both parties, as the satisfaction rate reached Suppliers last year increased by 95.6% compared to the same period in 2021.
He listened to an explanation about the future plans of the Suppliers Council, which aims to provide all services to them, enhance communication, listen to their opinions, and exchange views on various challenges and common areas, praising the partnership relationship that brings together Dubai Police with all suppliers working with it.
Major General Al Mansouri was briefed on the comprehensive plan for employee happiness implemented by the Department of Administrative Affairs, which included field visits to sub-departments and the launch of various initiatives to make employees happy, such as “Communication,” “Compassion,” “Accumulation in Our Eyes,” “We Communicate to Build,” and other initiatives, which led to the stimulation of 99 employees. % of the administration’s employees, and the number of those honored in the “Accumulation in Our Eyes” initiative, which aims to motivate employees and create more cohesion among the administration’s employees, reached 491 employees, including 230 public administration employees, 77 from various public administrations, 159 collaborators, and 25 students. It also reached The number of female students in the “We Communicate to Build” initiative, which aims to strengthen the relationship between the Director of Public Administration and employees, is 174 applications.
