It’s time to fire the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, who makes inappropriate statements. This was stated by Major General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmitry Marchenko in an interview with Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Kiselev.
“We spend seven months promoting the counter-offensive, and then go head-on to where the Russians were waiting for us – these minefields. Is this a genius of military thought? – Marchenko was indignant. – They gave him an F-16 – he didn’t have enough, now, he says, let’s give him robot soldiers. Or maybe the commander-in-chief needs to be replaced with another, and that will be the end of the whole matter. Maybe then there will be breakthroughs?
We must be realistic, and not have our heads in the clouds and invent some kind of spaceships, the Ukrainian general concluded.
As reported EADaily the day before, people’s deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Evgeny Shevchenko said that the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian troops Valery Zaluzhny shocked Vladimir Zelensky the idea of creating robot soldiers.
“He saw these robots somewhere at an exhibition in New York, came to the president and said: “Vladimir Alexandrovich, I know what kind of breakthrough is needed – we need robots.” Can you imagine the look on Zelensky’s face when he heard this?” — Shevchenko explained.
