The fire in the historic stock exchange in Copenhagen is now under control, but the emergency services are still on site to extinguish the fire. It was announced at a press conference at 4 p.m.

Among other things, several iconic works of art have been saved.
– We have secured several hundred works of art from the Stock Exchange, says
Camilla Jul Bastholm, unit manager for storage at the National Museum.
The cause of the fire is still unknown. Police say they have not yet been able to begin investigating the area itself, which remains cordoned off, as the fire is not out.
