As expected, the story of hardcore adventures in the dark world of Elden Ring is not yet complete. Today the developers from the studio FromSoftware officially announced a new addition to the game. And although there is not as much official information as we would like, it is already known that the DLC for Elden Ring will be massive.
The FromSoftware team announced on their official social media pages that they are working on an Elden Ring content extension as an add-on. The long-awaited DLC for the popular game is called “Shadow of the Erdtree”, which hints at some connection with the Tree of Erd.
“Arise, Extinguished One, and let’s walk a new path together. The upcoming Elden Ring expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, is currently in development.”

One can only guess about what the new addition for Elden Ring will be about. Judging only by the name, we are probably waiting for some kind of new story that will be associated with a huge luminous tree located in the Interearth – the Tree of Erd. More details will be announced at a later date.
