Officials of the Saudi Al-Ittihad Club reached a “preliminary agreement” on a major exchange deal during the current winter Mercato (January 2024).

The Federation is suffering from a significant decline in results during the current sports season. After winning the Saudi Roshan Professional League double and the local Super Cup, in 2022-2023.
According to the “Bra 18” program, centre-back Saad Al-Mousa and winger Ahmed Al-Ghamdi will move from Al-Ittifaq Club to the Al-Ittihad team, during the current winter Mercato.

The program revealed that Al-Ittihad will, in return, give up its winger, Abdul Rahman Al-Aboud, and its striker, Haroun Kamara, to Fares Al-Dahna, as part of the exchange deal.
The program indicated that the major reciprocal deal between the Union and the agreement was completed by 95%. The two clubs are currently working on the final touches, before the official announcement.

It is worth noting that Al-Aboud stayed away from Al-Ittihad matches in the current sports season 2023-2024. Because of his unprofessional behavior, Kamara was permanently removed from the accounts of Argentine coach Marcelo Gallardo.
