Kuwait City: Two people arrested in Kuwait with deadly drugs. Two persons were arrested from Jabir Al Ahmad area with 35 kg of hashish oil and more than 2000 pills. The accused were arrested by the Home Ministry officials. The investigation was conducted on the basis of confidential information received regarding the transactions of the accused. Money earned by selling drugs was also seized from the accused.
Narcotic drugs and money seized from the accused have been handed over to the department for further investigation. This is the second time this week that suspects have been caught in possession of hashish oil in Kuwait after the authorities intensified their drug hunt in the country. On Tuesday, the suspects were arrested with 40 kilograms of hashish oil worth one and a half million dinars from Kuwait City.
Drugs and hashish oil were seized by the Coast Guard on Tuesday. The officials who received information about drug trafficking arrested the accused. Five accused were arrested in the case of trying to smuggle drugs in a boat.
Meanwhile, foreigners were arrested last week after they smuggled a large quantity of drugs into Oman. The Royal Oman Police arrested them from North Bathina. 100 kg of hashish and 25 kg of crystal drug were seized from the accused.
Asian nationals were arrested. They were arrested by the Directorate General for Prevention of Trafficking in Drugs and Narcotic Substances. The Royal Oman Police said in a statement that legal proceedings are being completed against the accused.
