In the shop Steam major discounts began as part of the weekend promotion: in addition to the previously mentioned midweek discounts, this time games from other major publishers received discounts, including Rockstar Games, CD Projekt Red, Square Enix and Bandai Namco.
As part of the sale, the publishing house Rockstar Games did discounts up to 70% on their games, including Grand Theft Auto V (67%) and Red Dead Redemption 2 (67%). Max Payne 3, LA Noire and Grand Theft Auto IV received the largest discounts – 70% each.
CD Project Red in turn did the same discounts on their games: Cyberpunk 2077 received a 50% discount, The Witcher 3: Complete Edition (75%), and Witcher and Witcher 2 – 85% each. Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales received a 70% discount.
Japanese publishing house Bandai Namco provided discounts for many of their games. Games from FromSoftware also received discounts, namely the Dark Souls series (50%) and Armored Core VI (30%). But Elden Ring, unfortunately, did not receive a discount. Perhaps the publisher is preparing for the announcement of the long-awaited addition Shadow of the Erdtree and will make a discount on the game with a full announcement, which according to rumors should take place soon.
Another Japanese publisher Square Enixdecided to make a discount on most of their games. In addition, the publishing house arranged sale of Final Fantasy gamesdiscounts within which reach 65%.
Discounts will last until February 12 (Square Enix), February 18 (CDPR) and February 22 (Rockstar Games and Bandai Namco).
