“Major Cineplex Group sells MPIC to Khanngoen Nuannual for 650 million baht”

after Major Cineplex Group Plc. or MAJOR Report of the Stock Exchange of Thailand on February 23, 2023 regarding the memorandum of agreement to purchase all ordinary shares held by Major Plc. M Pictures Entertainment or MPIC amount 1,202,130,480 shares, representing 92.46% of MPIC shares to Mr. Chinawat Assavapokee and/or the person designated by Mr. Chinawat Assavapokee as the “purchaser”.

Subsequently, on May 15, 2023, Mr. Chinawat Asavapokee transferred his rights and obligations under the MPIC share purchase memorandum toKhanngoen Nuannual (Titanium Band)

Today (May 22, 2023), Major has signed a sale and purchase agreement for all shares held in MPIC to Khanngoen Nuannual (Titanium Band) as a stock buyer total price 650 million baht

For M Pictures Entertainment Plc. (formerly Traffic Corner Holdings Public Company Limited) was established on November 5, 2001 to operate the business of investing in media companies. with an emphasis on sports news marketing management through radio and television media

Later it was merged with “M Pictures” to expand the movie business Procuring movie rights for distribution to cinemas, producers of VCD, DVD, BLU-RAY, free TV, cable TV, pay TV in 2011, started producing Thai movies. Currently, the company has a registered capital of 656 million baht.

– Year 2019, revenue 457 million baht, net profit 17 million baht

– Year 2020, revenue 290 million baht, net loss 64 million baht

– Year 2021, income 165 million baht, net loss 20 million baht

– Year 2022, revenue 292 million baht, net profit 25 million baht

– Year 2023 (1st quarter) revenue 30 million baht, net profit 3 million baht
