Farhad Majidi, technical director of Kalba Union (Tigers), revealed the absences that affected his team when playing the ninth round of the ADNOC Professional League.
The Tigers, who finished seventh with 14 points of balance, are preparing to receive Baniyas (Swords of the Capital), who collected 11 points to become ninth.
Majidi opened his statements, declaring: “Unfortunately, we will miss the efforts of 3 main elements due to the injury, namely Abdul Salam Muhammad, Ahmed Jeshak and Yasser Hassan”.
The Iranian coach added: “But on the other hand, we have players ready to make up for the shortage and we will enter the field with all our strength to get his three points.”
Regarding the task that awaits him in front of the swords of the capital, Majidi underlined: “We know very well that it will be a complex confrontation. All the matches are difficult due to the convergence of levels, and this is what distinguishes the championship”.
The 46-year-old expressed his belief that “the team that is in good physical condition, will struggle more and fight in the match, will be able to win”.
