Majida Issa Opens Up About Her Vote in the Last Presidential Election in Colombia

The last presidential elections in Colombia were among the closest in history. The different political movements formed the necessary alliances to give strength to Gustavo Petro or Rodolfo Hernández, who were the candidates who finished in the second round, leaving others like Fico Gutiérrez, Sergio Fajardo or Ingrid Betancourt on the road.

Amid all the political turmoil the nation was going through, celebrities rallied heavily in favor of one or the other aspirant. Opinions about the public administration of celebrities were attacked on social networks, for which others preferred to be extremely cautious.

The interpreter told everything about the democratic day and how she lived it in the middle of an interview on the La tele lethal program, which is hosted by the controversial presenters Martín de Francisco and Santiago Moure.

Among his statements, the first thing he made clear was the reason why he preferred discretion in 2022. “Anything that one talks about on the right or on the left becomes a hot topic in this country,” he said.

With that answer, Moure insisted that then her vote was for the engineer, which she denied and extended about the difficulty of choosing the favorite candidate.

“It is the first time in my life that I vote blank. I hate voting blank and that was my tirade. I was like, ‘What am I going to do? I can not make the X or this or this. My hand is going to fall off,’” he added.

“Neither one nor the other. I wanted to cry. It was the first time in my life that I said: ‘What do I do with this card? I can’t not come, but I should vote blank’. My hand was shaking, like in an overacted scene, ”she said.

And it is that Issa’s concern does not stop at what happened last year, but rather he analyzed the current panorama and evaluated the different options that may exist for the 2026 presidential elections.

“There is no one to vote for for the presidency, according to my point of view and my criteria. I respect all the points of view and criteria of others, ”she concluded.

Already far from her political ideals, Majida Issa continues in her projects in front of the cameras, in what has stood out the most in recent years. Remembered for her roles in productions such as Sin senos si hay paraíso, Enfermeras or La ronca de oro, she is now working on a soap opera called La sustituta, which will premiere the agreement between RCN and the streaming platform Vix.
