Maja Stark, 23, had a hitting position before the end of the Scottish Open.
The Swede also got off to a dream start – when she made a hole-in-one on the sixth hole.
But it wasn’t enough all the way and she had to settle for a shared fourth place.
Before the final lap, Stark was tied for second place in the competition.
After a slightly shaky start to Sunday’s round, where she holed in for a double bogey on hole four, the 23-year-old got her revenge on the sixth hole.

The Swede then succeeded in the feat of putting the ball in the hole directly from the tee. It caused a frenzy of joy among the Swedish commentators in Eurosport’s live broadcast.
– It’s in! Shit, I get goosebumps, exclaims expert commentator My Leander.
But after that the Swede did not go as strong and lost the lead. In the end, she finished in 71 strokes, -1 for the day and -11 overall. This resulted in a shared fourth place. Caroline Hedwall finished one stroke behind Maja Stark, in joint sixth place.
The French woman won again: “Absolutely crazy”
The Frenchwoman Celine Boutier won the competition, who thus took her second consecutive competition victory. As recently as a week ago, she won the first major of her career when she took home the Evian Masters on home soil.
– It’s completely crazy. I don’t even think I could have dreamed that it would happen, says a happy Celine Boutier in the victory interview.
Second in the competition was the South Korean Kim Hyo-Joo, two strokes behind Boutier. With the win, the Frenchwoman collected a profit check of just under SEK 3.2 million.
