[MàJ] Watch Dogs Legion: Ubisoft would abandon 3d early access on its premium editions – News

Ubisoft formalized the information in the evening, explaining having modified the content of the season pass and the Ultimate pack. In fact, the early access and the scenario missions of the four unique heroes planned in the season pass have been replaced by:

  • Two story extensions taking place after the game ends.
  • Three Dedsec missions.
  • Watch Dogs : Complete Edition.

On the Ultimate pack side, the experience booster is removed. Finally, the dedicated page announces that it is possible to contact Ubisoft support to “modify your order or for any other question”.–

Last night was held the Ubisoft Forward conference, an event allowing the French firm to present its future productions to tens of thousands of online spectators. At the center of this show was notably Watch Dogs Legion, a production whose publication date is now set for October 29, 2020.

And finally, this date will be common to all players. Because with its early access policy, Ubisoft should have allowed buyers of the Gold, Ultimate and Collector’s versions to start enjoying the title three days before everyone else. An option that would in fact be doomed to disappear. According to Gamespot and the analyst Daniel Ahmad |, the studio intends to revise its strategy by bartering the short period of early access for additional content. The season pass would indeed enjoy more additional missions than expected, while the bonuses offered by the above-mentioned editions would be more substantial. Information that has not yet been formalized by Ubisoft, which we have taken care to contact on this subject. We will adjust the article in case of response.
