If you try to connect to Steam, you will surely encounter difficulties. Valve’s cloud store is currently experiencing server issues worldwide.

After four short hours of errors, all of Steam’s features (the store, the friend lists and the community section) as well as the official Valve site are new functionalities.

For a few hours now, players have not been able to access the Steam store, either via the website or through the application. All online features are then out of service such as the store, the friend lists and the community section. Fortunately, players can still access their library to play or download the latest updates for their games.
For its part, the official Valve site is also down. It only remains for us to wait and hope for a rapid reaction from the company on social networks in order to keep us informed of the problems encountered.
