Yesterday we announced that Electronic Arts was preparing the ground for launching EA Access on Steam, its subscription service. Unfortunately, no exit window had been disclosed. Today, through an official press release, the American company unveils that this service, already available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Origin, will land on Valve’s digital store this summer.

For the occasion, Electronic Arts has made available more than 25 titles from its catalog on Steam, starting with Dragon Age Inquisition, Dragon Age II, Plants Vs Zombies: The Battle of Neighborville, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst and Unravel first and second by name. Obviously, to celebrate this, the American firm offers many reductions up to -75%.
We want everyone to be able to play their favorite games wherever they are and regardless of their system. Releasing our games on Steam is therefore an important step in this strategy. We are very happy that our games are on Steam and we plan to enhance them even more thanks to the subscription offer that we will launch this summer. Mike Blank, Vice President of Development
We also learn that Command & Conquer Remastered Collection, the last big release from Electronic Arts, is also available on Steam. As a reminder, this compilation includes Command & Conquer from 1995, Command & Conquer: Red Alert as well as all the extensions of these two RTS.
As a reminder, the EA Access service gives access to a whole catalog of Electronic Arts games and many advantages, such as discounts or previews on future releases. Everything is available for € 3.99 per month or € 24.99 per year.
