Maisonet, the Solution to Build Houses in Big Cities with Limited Land

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Ministry of Public Works and Housing area The People (PUPR) provide a solution to the limited land for building House in major Indonesian cities.

Diana explained that maisonet appeared to answer the limitations of housing, which made the price relatively high.

That way, this residential typology model can increase the density of buildings and occupants so that land use becomes more efficient.

This book discusses the principles and typology of the maisonet house while still referring to applicable regulations and standards.

Diana hopes that this technology can be massively disseminated to all related parties.

Currently, the Ministry of PUPR already has a regulation that regulates the typology of maisonet houses, namely SNI 03-6981-2004 concerning Procedures for Environmental Planning for Simple Unstructured Housing in Urban Areas.

Then, in the form of Technical Guidelines Number PD T-01-2005-C related to Planning Maisonet’s House.

“We hope that the presence of innovative concepts such as the Maisonet house book can support the commitment of the Ministry of PUPR in realizing slum-free settlements and providing affordable housing,” he concluded.
