Settling in at the new FOS after secondary school shouldn’t be a problem for Santiago-Romeo Ghigani – the 17-year-old is used to changing schools. In the first grade he went to a primary school in Laim, the second grade in Indonesia, followed by a school in Olching, a sports high school and finally the Orlando di Lasso secondary school in Maisach. “My father is a professional footballer, that’s why I’ve lived in different countries,” explains Ghigani. He also plays soccer himself, formerly with FC Bayern, now in the Fürstenfeldbruck team. “Football has moved a bit into the background because I took second place in ‘The Voice Kids’ in 2018 and then started making music actively,” he says. He has already released a song and is currently writing more songs in his home studio. “I write songs almost every day.” In addition, he is preparing for graduation. The fact that this is taking place in the corona pandemic gives him a somewhat unsafe feeling, but he feels well prepared. “I think we will do well despite the difficult situation.” After graduation, Ghigani would like to do a high school diploma and a driver’s license. He will also be on the road to shoot a music video, and a trip to Barcelona is firmly planned. “It’s going to be a big change in life for me, I’m growing up,” said Ghigani happily.
