Mairis Briedis enters the ring to congratulate Okoli, dressed as Supermario

Polish boxer Mihal Cheshlak won the O2 arena in 12 rounds of points. The decision of all judges was unanimous – 117: 110, 116: 111 and 115: 112.

Briedis also watched the fight in person, dressed in the costume of the computer game hero Supermario, entered the ring near Okolia after the duel and congratulated him with the victory.

This deer march was another attempt to get the attention of the American Jake Paul. It is known that in an interview in which he claimed that he had never heard of a Latvian boxer, he called him Mario.

This spring, the deer will be defending its International Boxing Federation (IBF) champion belt against Australian Jay Opetay. After defending the titles, Briedis and Okolijs could meet face to face.
