Mairis Briedis combines a training camp with rest in Egypt

Mairis Briedis admits to the magazine “Kas Jauns” that the time of the training camp is planned and the conditions in Egypt are grateful both for sports activities and recreation.

Asked whether the spread of Covid-19 in any way affects the athlete’s running in the training camp, Mairis admits: “There are no rules here that would limit my training. Everything happens as usual – cross country and evening training in the gym. ” The boxer spends his free time with his family – his wife Julia and sons. “We go to the mountains, snorkel in the water, ride bicycles, go horseback riding,” some of the activities are listed by Mairis, who will be in Egypt until the end of the month.
