Mainz – Urban development: On Thursday, September 12, 2019, at the invitation of Marianne Grosse, head of the construction department, the first constructive discussion took place with the investors Reiner and Simon Fischer (Fischer Immobau) about the planned construction project “On the sunny slope”.
After an intensive exchange with the local advisory board in the building department on Wednesday, Head Grosse conveyed the concerns and wishes of the citizens of Marienborn. In particular, the social and cultural facilities and the local supply function in the one-storey pavilion are of central importance for the district.
At the request of Head of Department Grosse, the investor will therefore examine the whereabouts and securing the current mix of uses in the new building as quickly as possible. The investor continues to adhere to a seven-storey building on the property, which is now built with a pavilion.
Further talks are planned.
It was also agreed that the investor would promptly inform the tenants about the general framework and, together with the members of the local advisory board, inform them of the planning status to date.
