Mainz hairdresser releases own film

Master hairdresser Larsen Samuel Audisho (34) loves his job: a year ago he fulfilled his dream of owning his own hairdressing studio. “Hello Flawless” was created in the upper town of Mainz. Audisho has now released its own film about the development process up to the opening, which was premiered at the Mainz Cinestar.

The path to the film

“I always wanted to do something that no one else was doing,” says Audisho in an interview From Mercury. When a friend came up with the idea of documenting the creation process of his hairdressing studio with a camera, the hairdresser was immediately enthusiastic. For over a year, the camera accompanied Audisho’s life with all its facets, ups and downs. This resulted in over ten hours of material.

The result is a 75-minute documentary that focuses on Audisho’s life as a hairdresser, from his first steps to setting up his own studio. In the film you get to know the master hairdresser and find out, as he himself says, how much energy, time and strength the construction took. “I wanted to show not only myself in the documentary, but also everyone who accompanied me along the way,” explains Audisho. He is grateful for all his companions, for his family and his friends who have already become family. Especially for his friend Dany Nabil, who produced the film.

Premiere im Cinestar

The documentary, which simply has the same name as his hairdressing studio, has now been published on YouTube. On November 18th, “Hello Flawless — a film by Larsen Samuel” even made it onto the big screen at the Mainz Cinestar. Audisho, who enjoys going to the cinema with his friends, explains: “I have always wanted to see myself in the cinema.”

Around 150 people from his circle of friends and acquaintances came to the Cinestar for the film premiere. It was a very emotional evening for the master hairdresser. He was impressed by the reactions to the film. He received many kind words in numerous text and voice messages. “The documentary is something special, because which hairdresser will release their own film?” says the Mainz hairdresser with a laugh. At the premiere, money was also collected for the Foundation for Children with Cancer Mainz. The foundation ultimately received a total of 1,000 euros.
