During the first elimination round of the dance competition, punters expected the elimination of the champion Martina Ptáčková. No one knew her very well, she seemed rather awkward on the dance floor. And although she received the least points from the jury, she did not drop out even after the sixth evening, in which she performed a passionate tango.
This time, the bettors reassessed their proposals for his dismissal, and contacted Jana Paulová. They hit it off. When it comes to their favorite people, they are still clear – Oskar Hes, Marta Dancingerová and Lucie Vondráčková.
However, as can be seen from the jury’s assessment, a lower number of points does not necessarily mean that the audience thinks the same way. They can surprise you, for example as in the case Martina Ptáčková. Her performance and especially her progress on Saturday was appreciated not only by the judges, but also by the audience.

How is she still not fallen out?
Martina is involved in combat sports, she has several world champion titles to her credit. Together with his brother, he organizes self-defense courses for children, the blind, and abused women. In addition, they recently launched the Bullying in the Cage projectin which he tries to help school children and adults to protect themselves from attacks. Combat sports fans probably don’t watch dance competitions, so how is it possible that Martina hasn’t been eliminated yet?
A good partner above all else
Those who don’t like Martina say that she is mostly what keeps her afloat dance partner Dominik Vodička. The dancer is handsome and favorite to win twice in a row before. So is he the reason for Martina’s progress? It may not be the only one. Martina is also very empathetic with the audience. And last but not least, he is always improving and pushing himself.
She was bullied as a child
Smiling Martina engaged in combat sports, but she certainly does not look like a tough girl. Long hair, gentle smile. As she appeared to Vlasta magazine some time ago, she looked more like a boy than a child and was teased a lot in primary school.
This is said to be the reason why she now has long hair. “Actually, in a way, I’m thankful for the bully, because without it I probably would never have done combat sports.” she said in an interview for Vlasta. She said it made her believe in herself more.
They know her even in the royal family
Many StarDance viewers may not know that Martina graduated in international relations and European studies and worked as an employee in European Parliament. She also worked as a goodwill ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and is as part of the advisory board of the Youth Council of the President of the Republic. And politely she admits that her achievements have been noticed even in the British royal family.
Letter from Prince William
In an interview for Vlasta magazine, she admitted that she received a letter with a crown in the head a few years ago. When she opened it at home in the evening, she was shocked – the letter was from Britain’s Prince William.
As she explained, she and her brother are supporters of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award and, as part of this, they also collaborate with the British Embassy in Prague. She did not reveal what the prince wrote in the letter to Martina. “The contents were confidential, but basically he wrote to us saying that what we had achieved was amazing and that he would continue to pursue it. “
A hero not only in sports
It is said that fighting sports is love, but in the last few weeks he discovers that there is something in dancing too. But it was a sport that taught her many things that are also useful in dancing. “He taught me humility and confidence,” she appeared.
He is not afraid of a challenge, he proves it every Saturday in StarDance. “I think a man has only one obstacle, himself,” she named her favorite motto. It is still considered to be dismissed as “disgusting execution” and he still considers himself an outsider as well. But the audience has a different opinion. Will he survive the next “execution”?
