The corona vaccination rate in the city and district of Würzburg is currently almost 74 percent, the highest in Mainfranken. Over 61,000 people have already received a booster vaccination – that’s over 21 percent. The main boost is Moderna. Because Biontech continues to deliver less than what is ordered, this vaccine is used specifically with the eligible groups of people. These include, for example, young people, those under 30 and pregnant women.
In the Main-Spessart district, the vaccination rate for those fully vaccinated is almost 64 percent. Around 21,000 have already received a booster vaccination there – rounded up to 17 percent.
Almost 71 percent of the people in the Kitzingen district are fully vaccinated and around 22,000 have already been boosted (24 percent).
Bavaria has a vaccination rate of almost 67 percent – across Germany it is a little higher, at over 68 percent.
