Mainfranken: Housing construction in the region is increasing overall …

Overall, more apartments are planned again in Main Franconia. This is reported by the Bavarian State Office for Statistics. Accordingly, a total of around 2,080 building permits were issued from January to September – for comparison: in the same period of 2020 there were around 1,665. That is an increase of 25 percent.

Würzburg region: speed in residential construction

The increase is mainly due to the planned apartments in Würzburg. So far, the construction of 688 apartments has been approved there, a year earlier there were 257. That is around 168 percent more. More building permits have also been issued in the Würzburg district: between January and September there were 676 – an increase of nine percent. In 2020, the construction of 621 apartments was approved.

Housing construction in Kitzingen and Main-Spessart is declining
