The number of new corona infections in one day exceeded 400 for the first time in Mainfranken. For the Würzburg, Kitzingen, Main-Spessart and Schweinfurt area, the RKI has reported 423 new infected people since Tuesday. There were also four deaths in the city of Würzburg, in the Kitzingen district and in Main-Spessart.
The city and district of Würzburg threaten to become a hotspot
With an incidence of 281 and 276, the city and district of Würzburg report slightly lower values, but they remain just below the 300 mark and thus threaten to become a regional hotspot.

Bund-Länder conference on Thursday
How the pandemic can be contained is the topic of a federal-state conference on Thursday. Prime Minister Söder did not rule out further measures and said he did not expect a normal Christmas party.
Söder: Greater willingness to vaccinate in Franconia
Söder justified the fact that the incidences in southern Bavaria are currently significantly higher than in Franconia (there are four districts with an incidence over 1,000) in a Facebook question time on Tuesday with a significantly higher willingness to vaccinate in Franconia.
