Even if New Year’s Eve is likely to be much quieter this year than in recent years due to the Corona requirements – the rescue services in Main Franconia still ask the Main Franconia for consideration.

If unconscious people are found, help should be called immediately. At every turn of the year, the rescuers have to complete numerous missions because people have drunk too much.
New Year’s Eve is usually the night with the most missions of the year, so three additional ambulances are available in Würzburg this year as well. In addition, numerous helpers are on standby and can be alerted if necessary.
Because many people watch the New Year on bridges or on the banks of the Main, forces from the DLRG and the water rescue service are back on the Main again.
