Mainfranken: Corona numbers – new cases and deaths

The health authorities in Mainfranken reported eight coronavirus-related deaths on Friday. One person died in the Würzburg district. It is an 86-year-old resident of the Fuchsenmühle retirement home in Ochsenfurt. He is the 20th death in the facility that previously tested positive for Corona and the 30th in the Würzburg district. The district office announced this. The Main-Spessart district reported seven new deaths on Friday. They all belonged to a risk group due to their age. This means that the total number of those who died from or with Covid-19 in Main-Spessart is 43. In the city and district of Würzburg there have been 33 new corona infections since Thursday. 13 of them in the city – here the incidence value drops slightly to 57.1 according to the RKI. There are 20 new infections in the Würzburg district. There the incidence value is now 54.2. 65 new corona cases have been reported in the Main-Spessart district. According to the RKI, the 7-day incidence is now 234.6. This means that Main-Spessart remains a corona hotspot with stricter regulations. The Kitzinger district office reported eight new cases on Friday – according to the RKI, the incidence value is 134.9. There are a total of 50 new corona cases in the city and district of Schweinfurt. The 7-day incidence is 127.3 in the city and 129.7 in the rural district.
