Four more corona-related deaths were reported in Mainfranken on Sunday. According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), three people from the Schweinfurt district have died. It is not yet known who this is. The Kitzingen district office also reported another death on Sunday: a 58-year-old who was previously ill died. She is the 86th death in the Kitzingen district in connection with Corona.
Development of the pandemic
The corona incidence values fell in all parts of Main Franconia on Sunday. This comes from the latest figures from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
In the district of Würzburg, the 7-day incidence value on Sunday the first day is below the threshold value of 35: The RKI reports an incidence of 33.3. If the value is below 35 for five days in a row, new easing will come into effect. Then the contact restrictions would be relaxed again: Ten people from a total of three households should then meet again.
The incidence value is also falling slightly in the city of Würzburg: on Sunday it was 68.8. In the district of Kitzingen, the incidence has decreased to 64.7. For the Main-Spessart district, the RKI reports a value of 55.5.
Development in the Schweinfurt area
In the Schweinfurt area, the incidence on Sunday is also falling – but they are still significantly higher than in the rest of the region. In the district of Schweinfurt, the 7-day incidence value falls to 100.5. For the city of Schweinfurt, the RKI reports the highest value in Mainfranken: on Sunday it was 146.
