The number of new corona infections has been increasing slowly over the past few days. Two other cases were reported on Monday from Main Franconia. Such a slight increase was last seen at the beginning of the pandemic, in early March. On Monday, no new infection was reported repeatedly from Würzburg, and there is no new case in Kitzingen. One infection each occurred in Main-Spessart and Schweinfurt.
Nevertheless, the coronavirus in Kitzingen and Main-Spessart claimed another casualty. The deceased had previous illnesses. There are the third and fifth deaths. A total of 99 infected people died in the region.
The numbers in detail:
A total of 860 cases have occurred in Würzburg, of which 504 are considered to be cured. 653 people are still under domestic quarantine, 2,166 have so far been released from it. 144 infections have so far been detected in Kitzingen. There are now 146 corona cases in Main-Spessart, and 621 in Schweinfurt.
