The corona booster vaccination is now possible after three months – not after five. The Standing Vaccination Commission issued a corresponding recommendation on Tuesday. The reason is the rapidly expanding omicron variant.
This means that those wishing to vaccinate can now also book booster appointments for the vaccination appointments in Mainfranken if the second vaccination was three months ago.
Vaccination centers switched immediately
In both Würzburg and Kitzingen, the vaccination centers changed over on Tuesday and carried out the earlier booster vaccinations. We have not yet been informed whether this is already the case in Main-Spessart.
