Main train station office tower for civil servants in Salzburg to be downsized.

The country will have to scrap a floor in the new service center after concerns from Icomos World Heritage Guardians. As a result, office space for up to 50 employees is lost.

The demolition work for the new state service center has been going on since the beginning of December in progress on the area near the Salzburg main train station. Around 1,200 state employees are to move into the new office complex at the end of 2026.
