Shortly after 7 a.m., the 23-year-old from Flörsheim was asked for a ticket while driving in the Robert-Bosch-Strasse area, whereupon he became aggressive and kicked the 49-year-old inspector several times. She was slightly injured. The police were then alerted, who filed a criminal complaint against the Flörsheimer and are now investigating allegations of bodily harm and fraud.

At 17:36, a 32-year-old from Hochheim was driving on Johannes-Gutenberg-Strasse when he lost control there for unknown reasons and collided head-on with a lantern. As a result, both the driver and an occupant of the vehicle were taken to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.

(jn) In the Hofheim district of K 787, an accident involving a 65-year-old from Hofheim was injured on Wednesday afternoon. The 65-year-old was a passenger in a Hyundai driven by an 83-year-old man. The accident recording showed that the 83-year-old was driving on the road between Diedenbergen and Langenhain at 12:38 when he skidded due to bad weather and then left the road. As a result of the accident, the passenger was in severe pain, which is why he was taken to hospital for further treatment after receiving medical attention at the scene of the accident.

(jn) A traffic light was damaged by a lorry in Hochheim on Wednesday afternoon. The previously unknown truck driver continued his journey undaunted. Witnesses said the truck entered the Freiherr-vom-Stein-Ring at around 12:20 and turned right onto Frankfurter Strasse. In this context, a contact occurred between the trailer of the truck and the traffic light pole. Damage worth around 10,000 euros was caused to the traffic light, which was temporarily limited in its function. The driver of the truck, to which initial results showed an Offenbach license plate was attached, continued on.

The regional traffic police service is now investigating the escape from the accident and is receiving further information on the accident on 06192/2079-0.
