Xiaomi is rumored to be unveiling its latest flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 on August 10, 2021. However, the latest leak about the smartphone has leaked again. Yes! This time the leak that revealed the main specifications of the Mi MIX 4 appeared on Weibo.
It is stated that the Mi MIX 4 will arrive with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel and have curved screen edges. This screen will support FullHD + resolution aka 1080 x 2400 pixels with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 480Hz and a color depth of 10bit. The front side of the smartphone is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
For the kitchen runway, Mi MIX 4 will be powered by Snapdragon 888 Plus. Qualcomm’s flagship class chipset will pair with LPDDR5 RAM and internal storage with UFS 3.1 technology. The smartphone will be backed by a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
The leak also mentions that the Mi MIX 4 will be equipped with a 20 MP under-display front camera. Meanwhile, on the back panel of this smartphone there will be three camera units led by a 100 MP Samsung HMX lens with OIS support.
The other two lenses are a 13 MP camera with 120-degree FoV, and an 8 MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optics. There is also zoom and OIS support. Other features embedded by Xioami into the Mi MIX 4 are dual SIM 5G support, WiFi 6E, A-GPS, USB-C, NFC, dual stereo speakers by Harmon Kardon.
There’s also Hi-Res audio support, an X-axis linear motor, and it’s IP68-certified water and dust resistance. The Mi MIX 4 is also said to measure 162.65 x 75.35 x 8.02 mm and weighs 225 grams. The smartphone will arrive in a variety of color options, such as Ceramic Gray, Ceramic White, and Ceramic Black.
Unfortunately, the leak didn’t reveal any information regarding the price of the Mi MIX 4. However, previous reports claimed that the Mi MIX 4 will be a more expensive device than the Mi 11 Ultra. Recently a promotional poster for Mi MIX 4 has also been leaked on the internet revealing the rear camera configuration.
Yes! The promotional poster shows that the configuration or rear camera setup of the Mi MIX 4 will be similar to that of the Mi 11 Ultra, only that it does not have a secondary screen. It is estimated that this smartphone will launch together with the Mi Pad 5 tablet series which is currently also widely discussed by Mi Fans in many countries.
