Hanau – As the police headquarters in Southeast Hesse in Offenbach reported on Sunday evening, the accident happened shortly after 8 a.m. on Sunday morning. At the Hanau-Nord junction of the A66 motorway, the 67-year-old was heading towards Fulda when he lost control of his car.
Shortly before the exit to Bundesstraße 45 in the direction of Bruchköbel, the man from Bruchköbel (Main-Kinzig-Kreis) with his Seat Ateca came off the road on a structurally separate parallel lane of the A66 to the right and crashed into the corner of an abutment of the B45 overpass .
