Main-Kinzig-Kreis: Drivers rush past the school at 104 km / h

During a check near a school in Hanau, the police caught a speedster. The driver drove through a 50 zone at 104 km / h.

Hanau / Wolfgang – “Securing the way to school and a driver with a speed of 104 km / h do not go together at all and make it clear how important speed controls are,” writes the Offenbach police in a press release. The reason for this was such a control, which was carried out on Thursday, October 7th, in Ernst-Barthel-Strasse in Hanau in the Main-Kinzig district.

The police officers at the Großauheim station were on duty between 12:10 and 13:25. During this time, the boys and girls from the Paul Gerhardt School make their way home, with numerous pupils waiting for their bus at the nearby bus stops. Main-Kinzig-Kreis: Motorists speed past the school at 104 kilometers per hour

According to the officials, one of the drivers was traveling more than twice as fast as allowed, namely at 104 km / h. Another eight drivers did not adhere to the speed limit of 50 kilometers per hour. For this reason, the road users can prepare for further checks, announced the police and added: “The police presence was well received by many kids and parents.” (Sec)
