New roads for the district – this year they are in Würzburg, Kitzingen and Main-Spessart. As the State Building Authority informed the editors when asked, major road projects are planned for this year in all three districts mentioned.
Three upcoming construction sites stand out because they will affect a particularly large number of drivers. This is the last phase of construction in the Marktheidenfeld through-road on the B8, where there will probably be a complete closure from the second half of the year until spring 2024.
The renewal of the roadway on the B27 between Thüngersheim and Veitshöchheim will also require a lot of patience. As well as the conversion of the “Am Traugraben” crossing in the Kitzingen district and the renewal of the road surface near Marktsteft. Here, too, there will be a complete closure in two sections – probably from May.

B 8, last construction phase in the Marktheidenfeld through road, full closure expected from the second half of the year until spring 2024
B 276, renewal of the road surface north of Frammersbach, complete closure expected in summer
Bypass Hafenlohr, St 2315 Construction of the southern junction (local connection), the state road is expected to be completely closed for several weeks in the second half of the year
District of Kitzingen:
B 8, renewal of the road surface in the OD Kitzingen, 3rd construction phase, probably summer holidays
St 2271, conversion of the “Am Traugraben” crossing and renewal of the road surface near Marktsteft, full closure in 2 sections, probably from May
