Anyone who left letters in a letterbox on Berliner Strasse in Offenbach yesterday (Wednesday 4th) should know that consignments may not reach the addressee.

At around 16:00, three youths threw a firecracker into the Deutsche Post letterbox near the exit of the Marktplatz S-Bahn station, setting it on fire. Several letters were destroyed and damaged.

Police are now investigating the cause of the damage caused by the fire. There were probably witnesses, but not all of their personal details are known. Please contact them by calling 069/8098-5100.
