Maikel van der Vleuten remains the best Dutch show jumper on the new World Ranking! The FEI Jumping Longines Ranking takes into account results from August 1, 2023 to July 31, 2024.
Van der Vleuten has to lose one place and ends up at 20, where Harrie Smolders originally stood, but he drops to 30. There is also a downward trend for Willem Greve, who drops from 28 to 43.
Lars Kersten makes a significant leap forward and goes from 105 to 77!
At the top, there is little change with the top five still in the same position. Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), who suffered an unfortunate fall in the individual final at the Olympic Games, remains the best in the world and has done so for the 25th consecutive month! Ben Maher (GBR) is however only just coming close with a difference of 105 points. Max Kühner (AUT) remains in third place.
Cian O’Connor (IRL) makes a remarkable leap from 36 to 18! Like Germany’s Jana Wargers (GER) who enters the top fifty for the first time at 35th, coming from 62, compatriot Jörne Sprehe (GER) also jumps from 70 to 46.
