Years after her divorce from Ahmad Dhani, Maia Estianty finally harbored an affection for Irwan Mussry. The two are now living happily like a young couple. They spend a lot of time traveling to different cities and even different countries, Mother.
Married since 2018, Maia and Irwan have not been seen to have children. Apparently, this is not without reason. Regarding the baby, Irwan Mussry really doesn’t want to have children from his marriage to this mother of Al, El, and Dul.
Maia Estianty said that at her current age, which is almost 46 years old, she is still capable if she wants to have a baby. However, the husband is quite the opposite. So, what causes Irwan Mussry not to have children from Maia?
The reason is inseparable from age, Mother. The age of almost 59 years is a concern for her husband. “He said that if he has a child at the age of 59, how old will he leave his child? The mother of three then told that the thought was created from the childhood experience of her husband, who was abandoned by his father when he was 8 years old. It was too early for him to lose a father figure, and he didn’t want his son to feel the same way.
“Actually, I can still (have children), only Mas Irwan doesn’t want to. Because he has his own traumatic experience of being abandoned by his father at the age of 8 years,” said Maia.
Currently, Irwan Mussry is enjoying his status as a continuing father to Maia Estianty’s three children, namely Al, El, and Dul. Although not related by blood, he has a very close bond with Maia’s three sons.
Maia Estianty and Irwan Mussry do not live in the same place as Al, El, and Dul. Maia’s three grown sons have their own homes. Therefore, Maia Estianty and Irwan Mussry always share a schedule to visit their children.
Deciding to have children at a young age, of course, requires careful consideration, Mother. Maia and Irwan also agreed not to have children, as stated in their marriage agreement.
“We have an agreement. I asked my husband, ‘You really don’t want to have children? I can prepare the womb,” said Maia, reported InsertLive.

Although she agreed not to have children, Maia Estianty did not deny that the decision could have changed if she married Irwan Mussry sooner, “Maybe if she met 10 years ago it could have been different (story)”.
