The Madrid brewery Mahou has announced the creation of a beverage distribution platform, Voldis Coruña, thanks to the union with several companies in the city that carry out their activity in the province. According to the economic newspaper Cinco Días, Mahou’s objective is to rstrengthen its position in our community and compete directly with Estrella Galicia, currently leader of the sector in Galicia and that in recent years has opted for an expansion throughout the rest of the territory of the peninsula.
Currently, Mahou continues to lead the production quota in the entire Spanish territory with 32%, while Estrella Galicia remains in fourth place, behind Heineken and Damm.
