Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs who is also vice presidential candidate number 2, Mahfud Md, said that Indonesia is currently not doing well. Vice Chairman TKN Afriansyah Noor believes that Mahfud Md should resign from his position.
“Yes, going back is better, rather than one finger designate people, but 4 fingers to punch yourself,” said Afriansyah to journalists, Saturday (25/11/2023).
Afriansyah believes that Mahfud should no longer need to be taught how to manage the country, especially in law enforcement. Because, he said, Mahfud is a figure who has a lot of experience.
“I know that Mr. Mahfud is a good, smart and intelligent person. We also know that he has started from the beginning, he has been a minister several times and continues to be a member of the Constitutional Court and Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court. Once a legislative candidate for the Republic of Indonesia DPR, he should not have to be taught how to do the state, what else in legal field,” he said.
“Well, now he’s the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs who’s been going on for 4 years. So if he says he’s not doing well, then he’s caught up in his own words, if I resign it will be him, so he won’t be a blunder,” he continued.
Even so, Afriansyah admitted that he was worried about the condition of Indonesia, which was rife with corruption. He also hopes that law enforcement officers can act firmly and not be selective.
“It’s very worrying, I hope the legal apparatus can really be firm and take action with a sense of justice, not selective,” he said.
Previously, the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs who was also vice presidential candidate number 3, Mahfud Md said that Indonesia’s current condition is not good. He said that the Indonesian government is plagued by extraordinary corruption.
“Brother, our current government administration, Indonesia is currently not in good condition. History calls us to improve. Why is it not in good condition? Brother, in Indonesia there is a lot of corruption in the government administration which is controlled by extraordinary corruption ,” said Mahfud when he was a speaker at the National Tausiyah event together to save & advance Indonesia, as broadcast on YouTube Umulquran Hidayatullah seen, Saturday (25/11).
Mahfud said that the rights of the people in the region were taken away at will. Law enforcement, said Mahfud, is also a problem.
“People’s rights, especially in foreign areas, are taken away at will. Enforcement of law and justice is also a problem. That is why, even though from time to time, Muslims progress, advance and progress, but many people are also left behind. ,” he said.
