KUALA LUMPUR, KOMPAS.com – Former Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahathir Mohamad | stated, he would file motion of disbelief to his successor, Muhyiddin Yassin |.
In uploads on his blog, Mahathir explained that he submitted it because he did not see “any light” in the People’s Council (Malaysian Parliament).

“In this way, it is clear that the motion will not be debated in the People’s Council,” Mahathir Mohamad was quoted as saying Free Malaysia Today Wednesday (9/9/2020).
In his 35 points, the former 95-year-old PM explained that Muhyiddin Yassin chose to work with UMNO and PAS.
This was done to stop the Democratic Action Party (DAP), which was deemed capable of “destroying the people of the neighboring country”.
Mahathir said the Malays are not as easy as it was destroyed. Therefore, he considers Muhyiddin’s claim to be absurd.
“British efforts to take over power through the formation of the Malay Federation could be thwarted by the people themselves,” he said.
Mahathir stated that if DAP did intend to control Malaysia, then Muhyiddin, who was then a domestic minister, could stop it.

He admitted that he regretted why his former ally in Partao Bersatu would cooperate with UMNO, which used to be the motor of the Barisan Nasional coalition.
According to Mahathir, with Muhyiddin’s decision to work together, it means he has betrayed the people who want to escape from Najib Razak’s regime.
The highlight of Muhyiddin’s maneuver was the “Sheraton Step”, which was a secret meeting of a number of political figures at the end of February.
The move created a political crisis in Malaysia. Because, Mahathir immediately resigned with the King of Malaysia, Abdullah from Pahang, pointing to Muhyiddin.

“How YB Pagoh (Muhyiddin) became the prime minister is very embarrassing. That has never happened before,” he explained.
Mahathir Mohamad even pointed out that the National Alliance alliance which now controls the government was not elected by the people.
The politician who is a member of parliament from Langkawi then urged that the National Bond government be canceled.
“Through this motion of disbelief, I ask that the National Alliance hand over the mandate to those who are entitled,” he said.
