However, Sawant stated that people should not panic but remain vigilant and take necessary precautions. Districts with higher population density, including Pune, Raigad, and Thane, have seen a rise in daily positive cases. The Health Ministry has also issued revised guidelines for COVID-19 treatment, stating that antibiotics should not be used unless there is suspicion of bacterial infection, and systemic corticosteroids should be avoided in mild cases.
