Hyderabad: Nag Ashwin’s new movie starring South Indian superstar Prabhas is all the rage.
This is Prabhas’ 21st film. The untitled film is currently known as Prabhas 21. Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone will play the lead role in the film. Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen in the lead role.
Directed by Nag Ashwin himself, the national award winning Mahanadi team is teaming up again for this film. Cinematographer Danny Sanchez Lopez and music director Mickey J Meyer will be teaming up for the new film.
Production company Vaijayanthi Films has announced on social media that the two will be part of the film.
Mickey J Meyer is the music director of several South Indian films including director Trivikram Sreenivas’ AA, director Sekhar Kammula’s Happy Days and Mahesh Babu’s Brahmastra. He made his debut as a cinematographer with Danny Sa-Lo Mahanati and worked on several projects including Rana Daggubatti’s Virataparvam and Keerthi Suresh’s Miss India. This is their first pan-Indian film. .
The film is said to be a sci-fi thriller set against the backdrop of a fictional third world war. Filming will start at the end of 2021. The film is set to release in 2023. Apart from Telugu, the film will be released in Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and English
