Earthquake An earthquake with a magnitude (M) of 4.6 rocked Batang Regency, Central Java. The earthquake was at a depth of 550 km.
Information on this earthquake was conveyed by the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) via its official Twitter account, Tuesday (25/7/2023) at 20.56 WIB. An earthquake occurred at sea.
“68 km northeast of Batang-Central Java,” wrote @infoBMKG.
The earthquake was at the coordinates of 6.34 degrees South Latitude (LS) and 109.95 degrees East Longitude (BT). So far, the impact of the earthquake is unknown.
“This information prioritizes speed, so the results of data processing are not stable and can change along with the completeness of the data,” wrote the BMKG.
